Smiling Mind is a not-for-profit organisation that works to make mindfulness meditation accessible to all. Smiling Mind exists to help build individual mental health and wellbeing through positive, pre-emptive tools based on mindfulness meditation. Co-developed with psychologists and health professionals Smiling Mind is accessible to everyone, irrespective of geographic location or socio-economic status.
In recent years, mindfulness meditation has surged in popularity for use in the treatment of stress, resilience, anxiety, depression and other physical and mental illnesses. Leading universities (like Monash, Harvard & Melbourne Uni) have come together to develop research into the positive impacts of mindfulness meditation.
The Smiling Mind app is a free app for young people. This app has been developed to teach mindfulness meditation and for use as a tool to help manage stress, increase resilience and improves focus.
